What in the world? Finally decided to try this place after seeing it for 20 years. I should have kept on driving by it. It was like the Twilight Zone inside. I wasn't even sure if they were open on a Monday at 5 PM. Not one single customer inside, they're all in the drive thru? Also, some wonderful gentleman that either works there or does business there(?) was so nice to beeline on the sidewalk and cut in front of me and my daughter as we walked in the door, only so that the staff could make us wait and then move around him? Unreal. Customer is not first here. If this is an employee, even worse. I almost left before I walked in! Extremely rude.I should have walked. We ordered a whole chicken and they weren't even sure if they had chicken. They had to check twice before ringing me up. That made me nervous. Our food was extremely salty and greasy and pretty much gross. They also asked me if I wanted bread, pickles onions and sauce. Like I want a whole chicken just plain???Overall I am unimpressed heavily. In fact, I'd say I'm disappointed in Granzins. They have a great meat market but this restaurant is questionable. Also the parking lot is a maze that proves difficult to enter and exit.I would not return and I would not recommend this place to family or friends.

Wow! I'm very disappointed. The brisket was very tough and dry. The ribs were chewy and hard to get off the bone. The turkey was good but cut extraordinarily thin. The sides were adequate, but nothing to really remember. The layout is dysfunctional and needs a serious rethink. There are so many choices for great BBQ in the area, I don't think I'll give this one a second try as I normally would. The owner needs to visit some competitors in the area and benchmark against them.

"Count your tacos". This review rating is based on the food and service this weekend. We have been coming here for breakfast and lunch for years. The food has always been good to us. We use the drive-thru many times for our breakfast order. I normally check our order, at any drive-thru place, to make sure I get what I paid for, I didn't this time. When we got home we called and informed them our order was short. We were informed we were wrong, the order was correct. The person said they filled the order and she always checks to make sure they are correct. Well the receipt and the order did not match but good memory with all the cars behind us. So next time I will check our order before leaving the window so don't honk if you're behind me or ask to speak to a manager who, I hope, would say "Sorry about that". The food keeps bringing us back and I'm sure it will in the future.

We stopped at this restaurant on our way back home. We read good reviews about it. The restaurant has local a very appropriate rustic look Texan style decor. We were entertained by the many details that the design of the dining room because it gives you the atmosphere of a Texan place. In reference to the food, my personal experience, left me a not so great conclusion. I order a pulled pork sandwich that was on a bun that I requested toasted, and it wasn't. The pulled pork meat itself was kind of , not cold, but not hot enough to to be enjoyed. . I had to ask them to reheat heat it somehow so that I could enjoy my sandwich. My husband order the baby back ribs. Not Surprisingly, the ribs were also cold. I recommend that they re-evaluate the recipe also since it was extremely salty, and the pulled pork had already a flavor in it and similar to barbecue. Unfortunately, we were not pleased with our dinner experience here. However, I encourage you to give you a try and probably Have a different perspective in your visit.

The breakfast tacos are the bomb!! Packed full of all of it and delicious! The Granzin is my family's fav....I think that's the reason it's at the top of the taco menu. The BBQ is also consistently delicious as well. The parking however, is a little tight for big trucks. The drive through is fast and friendly too. This family has been doing BBQ for a long time and originally from New Braunfels. Keep up the great work gang!
