Cranes craft bbq is the best brisket I have ever eaten. When u walk in you enter a beautiful open room with tons of space for seating and dancing. You walk up to the meat counter and are greeted by the welcoming and goofy owner full of jokes and bbq mastery. I ordered the brisket plate with a sides of homemade beans and cornbread. The brisket was PERFECT. Juicy tender inside that you can cut with a spoon with the perfect seasoned bark on the outside. The sweet and tangy bbq sauce options both paired perfectly and I couldn't decide which I loved more. I could not recommend this place enough.

Stopped by for a to go order. Was disappointed, on one of the orders they didn't put in my two sides and didn't notice until I had left. Bummer. But the food tasted delicious probably the best bbq and sides I've had!

If you haven't tried Crane's Craft BBQ at the wagon wheel in Tye...you're missing out! We went about 2 weeks after they opened and were not impressed...after seeing very consistently good reviews the last several months we decided to give it another try today. So, we got the convertible out and took the long route for a nice drive with the top down and got there about 11:15. I got 1/2 pound sliced brisket and a Tx Twinkie and my husband got the 2 meat plate with brisket and ribs, beans and a Tx Twinkie. Brisket was moist and flavorful with a nice bark, hubs said the ribs were great. We both loved the Tx Twinkie (they mix a little blueberry into the cream cheese). He also gave us a little tray of burnt ends to try and they were delicious too! Oh and we went back up and got banana pudding to top it all off. Just over $55 for an amazing lunch and leftover brisket to enjoy later. Bonus is on Saturdays starting at 12 you can enjoy some live music while you eat. Glad we decided to go back and give them another try, we will definitely go back!!

This place is amazing, and the food is even better than that. First time having central Tx bbq.. the post oak has a great subtly to it, allowing the flavor profile the really come out. The Texas boudin sausage link was a unique surprise. Plus the amazing banana pudding. And if that wasn't enough, William, Erica, and Mellissa were so friendly made for a wonderful Saturday lunch.

Five Stars - A Hidden Gem Worth Discovering!Crane's Craft BBQ is hands-down one of the best BBQ spots I've had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in — warm, welcoming, and full of that laid-back charm you want from a good BBQ joint. The aroma alone lets you know you're in for something special. The food? Incredible. Every bite was packed with smoky, savory flavor — clearly made with care and serious skill. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the ribs had the perfect bark, and the sides were just as memorable. You can tell they put just as much thought into the details as they do the meat.On top of that, the owners are genuinely kind and friendly people. You can feel the pride they have in their place, and it makes the whole experience even better. And let's not forget the live music — such a great vibe! It added an awesome layer of energy to the evening without overpowering conversation. Just the right touch to make it feel like a night out, not just a meal.Whether you're a BBQ aficionado or just looking for a cool spot to relax with great food and great people, Crane's Craft BBQ should be at the top of your list.
