The food is always good. My husband and I ordered the baked potato with brisket. It was delicious. I can only eat half in one setting. You know it's better the next day, right? So good. The only complaint I have is that the customer in front of us dressed in a suit w/o his jacket kept looking back at us like we were criminals. There is no need to entertain his foolishness. It's not a fault of the restaurant. Otherwise, my experience was perfect.

The food is delicious. On Tuesday's, they have loaded baked baked potatoes (with your choice of meat), or you don't have to add meat. The price is buy one get one free ($). On Wednesdays, the special is buy one meal get one free; you can select one, two, or three variety of meat options, two sides, and a roll ($). The sides are homestyle and very delicious. The peach cobbler, banana pudding, and chocolate chip cookies with pecans are delightful. This is a local barbecue jewel! (Dine in or carry out. Catering is available, I believe).

I wasn't even intending on stopping here. I initially was gonna get pizza from next door but decided to give it a shot. I got a 3 meat plate (ribs ,sausage and brisket) with mac & cheese and corn for my sides. The ribs were basically flavorless even with sauce. No smoke flavor or nothing. They don't even pull the membrane off the ribs. Brisket same thing. Flavorless and not even a hint of smoke. The sausage was probably the only thing with a hint of flavor. But it was on the dry side and the casing was rather tough. The mac & cheese was just terrible, no effort put into it at all. The corn was actually kinda good but that ain't really saying much. Aside from that, the food gave me a mean belly ache in my sleep that sent me to the bathroom. In hindsight I should've just got the pizza.

Terrific BBQ. I had the two meat plate with lean brisket and German sausage. Delicious. Also very much enjoyed the potato salad and BBQ brisket beans. I enjoyed the comfortable, clean dining room. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining on delicious Texas barbecue at Cousin's Barbecue, located on McCart in Fort Worth TX...the experience was great and the food was WONDERFUL!!! The staff was courteous and made recommendations for a delightful lunch and I was made aware of a special for the day which allowed me to have a meal for myself and another one to share...all for the price of one meal!!! I couldn't decide which two entree's I wanted so the guys serving allowed me to taste a couple of items, which led me to purchase the German Sausage and chopped beef...give them a try if you go there... the ribs and brisket are quite satisfying as well! The potato salad, coleslaw and beans were great too. I guarantee, you won't be disappointed.
