Finally got to try Cattleman's BBQ in Brady Tx. The overall dining area was great, service was great but the food I had was disappointing. I had the pulled pork, smoked sausage with fried okra and coleslaw. Pulled pork seemed boiled or baked, had little flavor. Sausage was just ordinary as well with little smoky flavoring. Coleslaw was like on its last day. Okra had a fishy flavoring which may be from frying in same oil. BBQ sauce was awful. They offered pinto beans for free which was pretty good. The price for this meal was $22 so overall I was expecting better quality of food for that price. I do travel a lot so this must be a locals thing. Overall, I'm not sure if I'd return.

Excellent food. Stopped in on a roadtrip and we were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Definitely recommend this place for great Texas barbecue and service. Absolutely ranks above Austin staples like the Salt Lick.

We were traveling and stopped for an early dinner. It was the best bbq meal I've had in a long time. The meat was juicy and tender and the sweet potato was delicious. You have to try the beans great flavor. Don't leave without having a slice of pecan pie. I highly recommend this restaurant. Our server was very attentive and very nice. Stop in and be prepared to be satisfied you won't regret it.

This is my first experience with real Texas BBQ and cattleman's did not disappoint. Great smoke flavor on the ribs and brisket. The BBQ sauce was outstanding and the waitress was amazing very helpful for a first timer. If you are in Brady TX stop in it was great food.
